Director's Statement

"Let me be me, whoever that is."‌ That`s what Patrick says to his parents, which also is what I told my parents when I decided to study in the US. Patrick makes the determination to go his own path, even though he doesn`t know what is going to happen in the future.  When Dakota Henry who plays Patrick said that line, he almost cried. I have lots in common with the Clonal Patrick. We want to satisfy people around us, make them happy, and be the man they want us to be.  And the most important thing is that eventually, we choose our own paths.

In the end, Patrick leaves his parents and throws away the flask which is the curse from his past. He decides to go away. Even though he has no idea where he should go, but he feels happy. I don`t know what`s my future will be, but for now, I also feel happy, and I will never regret being a filmmaker.
