Director's Statement
"Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?" Henry David Thoreau said. This miracle happens when I watch a powerful film, documentary, or even a commercial. This was my goal with âCamping Tripâ â to let the audience, for a few minutes, explore the world through the eyes of this young girl. This is really a story about growing upâ about being let down for the first time by those you trust, about coming to terms with the unexpected twists and turns of life, and about finding the courage to see the light in all the darkness.
