Camping Trip

Audrey Larson
United States, 2016, 6 min.

In English.
This film is family friendly.

A 5-year-old girl embarks on a camping trip with her father, but when the trip takes a turn for the worse she must realize that true courage is finding home wherever you are.

Director's Statement

"Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?" Henry David Thoreau said. This miracle happens when I watch a powerful film, documentary, or even a commercial. This was my goal with “Camping Trip” — to let the audience, for a few minutes, explore the world through the eyes of this young girl. This is really a story about growing up— about being let down for the first time by those you trust, about coming to terms with the unexpected twists and turns of life, and about finding the courage to see the light in all the darkness.
