Skinner Myers

In Spanish with English subtitles.
Includes adult language.

A Mexican street kid with hopes of making it to America, leads a recently kidnapped American teenager to the Mexico/United States border.

Director's Statement

LA TIERRA DEL EXODO originated from my own experiences as a child living in Mexico. I had a friend named Obed who would take me around Matamoros, Mexico without our parents supervision. We spent many late nights running the streets and getting into trouble. Fortunately we were never kidnapped or killed. I have always wondered what it would be like if I, as an American, had to cross the border in order to make it home. The experiences we shared have stayed with me and have been the source of inspiration for a lot of my writing.

Category: Drama.
Themes: Border, Youth.
