True was a main character in Christopher McDougall's best-selling book "Born to Run - A Hidden Tribe, Super Athletes and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen."

Director's Statement

I met ultra runner Micah True (Caballo Blanco) by chance while motorcycling in the heart of North America's largest wilderness'the Copper Canyon'located in the Sierra Madre Mountains of northern Mexico. He invited me to experience the beauty of the region and its inhabitants through the race he created, the 50-mile Copper Canyon Ultra Marathon. My aim is to share Micah's legacy of hope and peace for the running people of the Copper Canyon.
