As seen from the eyes of high school students, NicoTeen gives an unbias and raw perspective from two high school friends on their experiences vaping. Deep insights began to emerge through their eyes: the complexities of vaping culture, trends and fads, favorite flavors, and the social bonds that form.
Director's Statement
Ethan J Lee is a senior at Calabasas High School. He is a Korean American actor and is best known for his role on the short lived NBC sitcom Mr. Robinson. Additional credits include Untitled Miranda July Project (2019), The Mick, KC Undercover, The Middle, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, and Southland. He recently directed the documentary NicoTeen, which examines teenage e-cigarette use from the eyes of those who partake.
