The Southern Italian tradition of making soppressata is being kept alive by the Martelli family. They have been making soppressata off and on for almost 100 years.

Director's Statement

I have been producing documentaries since 1972 in both long and short formats. Most of my work has been about Braddock, PA and people who live in the community. This film is the first of three films about Italian cooking traditions.
