The Last Wild River

Isaac Dudley
United States, 2022, 11.5 min.

In English.
This film is family friendly.

An optimistic conservationist teams up with a jaded record holder to tell the story of the Verde River in Arizona, one of the state's last free flowing rivers. Over the course of six months, the duo paddled the entirety of the Verde in an attempt to capture its beauty, its threats and challenges, as well as what is being done to save it.

Director's Statement

I'm thrilled to share this project with the Arizona community. The campaign for designation of the Upper Verde River as Wild and Scenic is ongoing and needs your support. If you are inspired to action by this film, please learn more about the campaign and what you can do to support it.
