Director's Statement
Nash is a story about an isolated, lonely boy’s attempt to find and confront the monster who has killed his mother. When he looks to his father for support, Nash finds him struggling as well, but not as Nash expected. The story of a boy who is “othered”; a boy who doesn’t understand himself, and feels alienated, spoke directly to me because as a neurodivergent person with combined-type ADHD, I have felt othered, confused, afraid, and angry throughout my life.
