Director's Statement
The short film "Birthday Cake" tells a heartwarming story of Evelyn and Sophia building an unexpected friendship. Through this story, I wanted to celebrate the power of human connection and the importance of looking beyond our assumptions. "Birthday Cake" is a reminder that small acts of kindness can have an impact on our lives, inspiring viewers to reflect on their own experiences and reminding them of the joy that comes from connecting with others. I would love for the audience to walk away with the belief that we all have the power to make a positive difference in someone's life.
