Director's Statement
Our first animation studio in Los Angeles was on a quiet street in Chinatown called Chung King Road. It’s a pedestrian only street lined with gift shops, art galleries, and small markets. During our 4 years there I witnessed the movement of the street, the people, the fading colors, and the stories. I was always inspired by the rhythm of the street; the opening of the shops was so consistent you could set your watch to it. So I always wanted to make an animation inspired by the mystery and magic of that street.
