Tiffany Zhang
United States, 2024, 5 min.

C'est La Vie explores a world in the near future where people are heavily reliant on the use of technology and its detriments with human ignorance.

Director's Statement

Machines are far from being perfect and in the possibility of an error can lead to fatal mistakes. Thus, the film explores the consequences of how a machine's miscalculations to put away rat poison led to the death of its owner as he was ignorant and too distracted by a screen to pay attention to the labeling of the product he assumed as seasoning.
