A romance at a trippy Halloween rave goes wrong. Lola's public breakup is disrupted when an Elvis impersonator comes to the rescue. Sharing confidences and ghosts from their past they reminisce and find meaning in their newly shared bond.

Director's Statement

As an Irish filmmaker living in New York, this film explores a blending of cultures. Ireland and the U.S. have a long history of immigration to the United States. I took elements of both cultures including an Irish dance, and the Irish language. I juxtaposed these elements with two American iconic figures, Elvis Presley and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz to bridge traditions and customs. This film explores themes of dualism in identity, exile and past trauma using dark humor. The film speaks to the Irish diaspora or any immigrant who leaves their homeland to find a home elsewhere.
