GODS AND HEROES
An exhibition of work by invited guest artists including photographers Cathy Murphy and Michael Hyatt. As Staff Photographer for Cesar E. Chavez and the United Farm Workers, Murphy's photographs in this exhibition were used by the UFW to rally support for ending child labor and inhumane working conditions. Through her friendship with Cesar and his family, Cathy also captured the personal side of his life. Hyatt's work in this exhibition also focuses on Cesar E. Chavez and The United Farm Workers California Proposition 14 Campaign.

"There is a world wide phenomenon of transnational corporate culture, urban sprawl and global homogenization inundating and annihilating ancient places, people, and traditions. The edges of this flood form an impact area with a fluid border and this border area is where I make photographs. The Screening Room exhibit "Sold Out" is a small selection of my photographic imagery from this area."
Exhibition ends May 15
