An undocumented immigrant living in the United States for the last decade is under deportation proceedings from the federal government. The family says they will stay on the church property until the federal government reverses its decision to deport him.

Director's Statement

Immigration is a highly contentious issue in our country. I've seen this first-hand while working as a journalist in Arizona. I've covered several stories hearing from both sides for several years. I knew that I wanted to do a documentary on this with a factual, unbiased approach. I knew I had the opportunity to do this when an undocumented immigrant made headlines in Tucson when he sought protection from deportation at a church. I wanted to tell his story as well as report on the illegal immigration debate as straight forward as possible.

Category: Documentary.
Themes: Border, Community, Human Rights, Immigration.
