MISCONCEPTION is a modern day romance about a married lesbian couple living in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Kate is a tennis pro at the local club and Heather is her voluptuous wife who has created a beautiful home for the two of them. But one thing is missing - children. Now that they are legally married, they are ready to start a family. Heather's impulsive nature will stop at nothing to find a sperm donor. She becomes completely obsessed stalking and luring men into her bedroom, in hopes of conceiving. Kate, on the other hand, prefers the traditional choice of finding the perfect donor at the sperm bank. As Kate carefully researches men on paper, Heather goes out hunting for the "Perfect Man", in red lips stick and a push up bra. Conception is what the woman hope for but misconception is what they get.
