Director's Statement

I always believed I could manufacture visions unlike anything seen before. I therefore wrote a feature I considered ideal, unprecedented in form but still founded upon meaning' Nobody was even willing to read it. So I undertook a filmmaking crash course. The year before Enfilade was the first time I'd used a video camera or performed any film-related activity besides writing. However, I had been making films for years in my head. We made Enfilade as students for $2500 with Lewis and myself undertaking an inordinate number of roles. As our first film, we hope Enfilade is only the beginning'
