Call for Independent Films

We are now accepting new and innovative independent films to be part of the 22nd Arizona International Film Festival. You can submit your film to withoutabox.com:

Finalists will be screened during the 2013 Festival scheduled for April 12-28 in Tucson, Arizona and communities in southern Arizona. Submissions will be accepted through February 2nd, 2013 in the categories of narrative and documentary features, documentary, dramatic, comedy, experimental & animation shorts. Kudos to our 2012 films Girl Model, Two Americans, Money and Medicine, and Love Free or Die (pictured above). Watch for these films on your television screen or at a theater near you.

A special shout out to the winner of the 2012 Arizona International Film Festival Special Jury Award for Inspirational Filmmaking, Inocente, for their Oscar nod in the "Best Documentary Short Subject" category.

 


Call for Works by Young Filmmakers

The Arizona International Film Festival is looking for works by young filmmakers (18 and under) to be featured in our IndieYouth program. Beginning November 8th, 2012, submissions will be accepted through withoutabox.com

Filmmakers in the Schools

Attention librarians, writing and drama teachers, elementary teachers, CTE, media and photography teachers!  Would you like a filmmaker to visit your class? Email our Director of Education, Suzanne Borth, at education@filmfestivalarizona.com for reservations.  Filmmakers will be available April 12 thru 26, 2013.
